Services: Health Check The words “Health Check” in the computer sense is one that has become synonymous throughout the PC industry as consisting of a set, list of procedures. Most companies, regardless of where they are based in the UK refer to this procedure by the same name. A Health Check is designed to prevent any unwanted symptoms appearing on your computer and usually will help to prevent you needing to call us out. We recommend to all our clients that they have their PC Health Checked on an annual basis and the process usually consists of most of the following procedures. • Removal of Viruses, Trojans, Worms and Spyware • Check for the integrity of the hard drive • Removal of unwanted files • Consultation of your computing requirements • Consultation of your existing set up • Advice on how to improve the performance of your computer Many people fail to see the need for a health check until it is too late. Those clients who do have health checks performed on their computers do notice an improvement in the responsiveness of their system. In the cases of those clients who have health checks on an annual basis we always find infections of some kind, mostly of a very minor nature, but nonetheless they do have the ability to impair performance.
