Services: Installation • Installation of operating systems / system configuration – An integral part of any system is the operating system; on most PCs this will be Windows either XP or Vista. If you have had to reformat your computer there will not be an operating system on your computer which makes your PC for most people virtually useless. Provided you have the disks, or if you prefer you can purchase the software from us, we will be able to install the Operating System on your computer and configure it for effective operation. • Internet / Email setup – Another very tricky area when a computer is first set up is the setting up of the internet and e-mail. We will take all the hassle out of worrying about which password you need for what, and quickly and efficiently set up the system for you allowing you to just sit back and boil the kettle for us! • Network installations – There are many different methods to connect to the internet. PC Doctor Operations Limited will discuss with you the best method for your circumstances and then install the network for you. We can assist in by setting up any of the following: Wireless, ADSL, broadband (once the line itself has been enabled by your provider), routers for home and business, switches, cable connection. • Hardware / peripheral installation – By this we mean hardware such as printers and other external advices. These can be tricky to install and set up, and if not done correctly can have an adverse affect on the running of the rest of your computer. • DVD-RW / CD-RW installation / setup – Some computers do not come with rewritable drives installed, but instead drives that you can only read from. By that we mean you cannot save any data to those drives. We can supply and install rewritable drives allowing you to save data to DVDs or CDs. |  |
